NCVPS has developed a comprehensive plan to better support schools and school districts as they work to incorporate NCVPS into their planning and budgeting processes. The plan divides North Carolina into three regions: East, Central and West. Each of the regions is comprised of a Regional Response Team that includes:

  1. A Coordinator of Professional Development, Teaching and Learning
  2. A Credit Recovery Specialist and
  3. A Regional Support Consultant.

You can download a chart of the regions with the regional response team members
( pdf, 351kb ).

Each Regional Response Team will work with their schools and districts to identify the "Strategic Six" stakeholders. They will also develop leadership capacity to align NCVPS and 21st century goals into with schools’ and districts’ work to meet the State Board of Education’s "Future Ready Goals" (pdf, 27kb).

The goal of our regional plan is to define key success factors for online learning and to facilitate the process of making online learning more effective. More importantly, we will work to help districts meet the demands of NCLB, 21st Century Skills integration and the ABC model indicators.
