STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES

The Student Support Services (SSS) Division provides service based upon the NCVPS comprehensive plan, which includes a three-region structure: East, Central and West. The SSS Division team is comprised of five initial staff members:

1. Connie Joyner, Coordinator for Student Support Services
2. Ramona DeWalt, Administrative Support/Helpdesk Assistant
3. Jennifer Nobles, East Region Student Support Services Consultant
4. Adam Renfro, Central Region Student Support Services Consultant
5. Don Lourcey, West Region Student Support Services Consultant

Each NCVPS inquiry should be directed to the assigned Regional Consultant. Regional assignments are identified in the table below. See ALSO The NCVPS Help Desk Site. The SSS Division provides assistance and consultation to a broad range of people, including:

1. Central Office and School-Based Distance Learning Advisors (DLAs), including those from traditional school districts, charter schools and federal schools
2. Students and parents
3. School and Central Office administration
4. Overall NCVPS staff and the NCDPI staff and administration

It is our passion to educate and inform all partners and stakeholders about the NCVPS operational guidelines and policies to better prepare students for their virtual learning experience.
